they work perfectly in my furnace. the merv 8 is what was recommended by my a/c tech. they seem to do a good job. just wish they were a little less expensive, being on a fixed income I have to budget myself. overall they do a pretty good job.

These filters are great. They are "slightly" smaller than the ones you find in local stores, which is great. I used to have to crush the ends of those bought locally to fit in my return chamber. Not these, they fit perfectly. I have been using them for about 5 years now and no problems at all.

I bought 12 that came neatly packed in a box, unwrapped, so it will be easy to pull one each time I need to make a change. I kept an old one to compare size and there appears to be no substantial difference. These new ones should fit as snugly! The MERV 8 is an improvement over my previous ones.
