If you have ever wondered about the difference is the MERV ratings, this will help. I held my last new MERV11 filter up to the light with the MERV13 filter overlapping. Look at the difference in the spacing of the pleats. The pleats are compressed in the MERV13 which gives more surface area acting to filter. These MERV13 filters clearly will trap more air contaminants than MERV11. I should mention that these filters arrived quickly, with good communication on delivery. I was so happy to support a US company, especially in nearby Indiana.

The filters look good and fit perfectly in my furnace. I would prefer that each filter be individually wrapped in plastic instead of receiving them packed in a box together without any separate packaging. This is a concern given the current pandemic we are in.
