I like that these furnace filters are made well. I purchased this brand a couple years ago. Decided to try a few other brands, one online company and two from local hardware stores. I eventually realized that although we don’t necessarily see the difference or realize if they are doing a good job since they are out of site doing their jib. The filters by DiscountFilter were made better, more support-both sides, and more fan folds doing the job. I have gone back to buying from Discount Filter. I would recommend this brand. They arrived quickly, were packaged well, and the price was comparable to other brands.

Honestly the only reason I purchased these was because they were on sale. I usually get my filters from Amazon or a home improvement store. I really do not need high end filters because I do not have pets or breathing problems, so the "basic" filters work just fine for me.

The fit was perfect. Sturdy frame. Looks like it will filter just fine. Next time I will order something under a MERV 8 though. I find the furnace to use a bit less energy when air flow is less restricted. This does seem to keep the wood floors a bit less dusty, yes it is noticeable.

The filters are of great quality, but I would like to REALLY praise the customer service department. I ordered the wrong size filters by mistake, but instead of having me send them back, they sent me the correct size filters, which were larger, at no extra charge. I was SO impressed by that.
