Last week I was complaining to the company who installed our new furnace about a year ago. The problem was the rattling of the heating unit and the noise came through the vents. I was told that I needed to get cheap filters with a very low MERV. (this is not listed on most filters). Evidently the furnace was having to work very hard to push the warm air through the more expensive, name-brand, (no MERV rating) filter. Now, with these newer filters, there is no rattling and the house is as warm as we want it to be, I am curious to see if the monthly heating fee goes down as a result of it not having to work so long and hard at one time. All filters should have a MERV rating on them. BTW the price for a year's supply is extremely reasonable.

Filter is very nice for my furnace. Air flows easier through it. I change my filter once a month. The shipping took a long time, 3 weeks before I finally received the filters. It usually is faster than that but was ordered close to the Holidays, so that could be why it took 3 weeks. Will purchase again. Mary ~ Illinois

You did an excellent job shipping. I suspect I purchased the wrong design but will take a month or so to determine how well it holds up in service. I should have studied the various alternatives better and bought a more heavy duty design. I have always used stronger designs with more re-enforcement but did not pay good attention. Assume what I have will be OK will just have to change-out more frequently, no problem. You gave excellent service on what I ordered. Thank you.
