It has taken over a 1 year to see how the ClearChoice 4.5" x 10" BIG BLUE Carbon Block Cartridge - 5 micron performs on our system. In a word, incredible! It's a whole house filter. For over 40 yeas, we have used local vendors of water filters and had to change filters every 3 months. Our water is filled with hard water which gums up faucets and minor smell. The ClearChoice 4.5" x 10" cleaned it out. This is how it worked for us. The ClearChoice continuously pushed the treated water through the copper system. Up until mid February (over a year and a half), when a faucet was turned on, you could smell an odor after running it about 3 minutes. Now, the treated water from the ClearChoice no longer has an odor, the faucets no longer gums up, and a white plastic dish washing tub no longer change an orange.! The ClearChoice 4.5" x 10" BIG BLUE Carbon Block Cartridge - 5 micron saved our water system. It's the 5 micron filter that does the trick. Oh, a single filter will keep your water syst
