I think it does what it is supposed to. A little difficult to install. But with a little squeezing and pushing it went in. A bit expensive for what it is however isn’t everything.

These particular filters were slightly undersized and did not 'snap' in to place. They fall out of the factory LG filter holder so you must take special care to install the filter holder to ensure filter is installed correctly.

These are much less $$ than Sears/LG filters. I'll admit, with the sears filters, there was zero odor and i never had to "max" the air filter but they became stupid-expensive and these filters work good enough. I just press "max" on the filter option if I smell anything...usually pizza or say leftover Chinese food or seafood and that takes care of it mostly and I also threw an Arm and Hammer fridge baking soda box in for good measure. Overall, these are comparable to the overpriced Sears filters and worth the savings.
