Our HVAC Co.,after viewing and installing the new air filter in our furnace, he advised this was the most generic, non marked filter he had ever seen. The filters shipped to me recently had " Allergy" or other markings on it. He also advised they didn't "appear" to be Merv 11. All these filters had was a check mark on Merv 11.

The product is usually received in good shape! The box the product was in had big gouge and crushed. The product itself had torn cardboard and smashed filler near bottom half....on one of the filters. Other one wasn't too bad. I fluffed the damaged one up as much as i could and am using it in the furnace first....I'll see how it works. Thanks.

Filters arrived and are as represented. I have used two of the same filters filters before this order and they worked fine. Seem to last about 9 months before a change is required. There are so many filter sizes available that it is confusing to know what to order. Often the sizes given are nominal, for example my filter is called out as 5-inches thick but it is actually 4-3/8-inch thick. So order by using information from the last filter used. Read up on the MERV rating and use the rating called out for your heating or AC unit.

The filters came damaged. I Emailed this seller regarding the state of the filters along with a photo of the damage and the order number, and they did not reply. Update: The seller is sending replacements. Therefor I changed my review to three stars. The filter does what it's supposed to do. Even when it's ready for a change, it doesn't seem to inhibit airflow very much. It also happens to fit very snugly into my furnace, and I think that's important to trap particles as it's supposed to.
