Definitely reduced in house allergens. Second time I used this type of filter and its was very dirty when changed after 8 months. Will purchase again. Filter is more costly but seems to be worth it.

Filter I ordered for a Lennox Furnace was a 2200/201 April Aire. Filter I received was labeled Clear Choice AirX and was the proper size and MERV 11. No indication that it was the proper 2200/201 except on the Discount Filter shipping label. I was disappointed when I viewed the pleats on the discharge air flow side. Most were gathered (stuck together), three or more. As an Engineer, I think this would limit air flow or create pressure on the system. I installed the filter and using it since it arrived. With the guidance of your customer service rep I was directed towards this filter instead of the one i had been using. This filter eliminated the chore of separating the pleats into the housing - a laborious job that resulted in holes in the filter media.. This one just slides into the Aprilaire housing and the job is done fro another year.
