Product quality is as always good and preforms as described. Been using this filter for about ten years since switching from Brand original use. The price was a little cheaper and worth trying so i did. Fast forward now to last purchase, The price has jumped quite a bit since i started using and that does cause me to think about how long can i really let a filter go before changing. Like many others i have do watch what i spend a lot closer, It's not an easy choice.

Well it came in a patch of two. One did not fit all the way into the filter casing, the other fine. I think if I take the foam off one side it will fit, but a we’ll see. Weird one goes right in, the other probably 7/8 of the way and then stops.

I own a duplex in Wisconsin. Three years ago I bought two new high efficiency furnaces that require this size air filter. I change them every six months and when I do I am amazed at the dirt they collect, So they're hard workers, but they're expensive. The price is competitive. I took off two stars because the filter is not as sturdy as others I have bought and it was very difficult to "squish" into my Skuttle filter compartment. A less careful person could easily have trashed it trying to install it.

It would be difficult to rate the filter itself because I have not installed it yet. I just installed a new Honeywell filter I bought at Home Depot. The filters I ordered from Discount filter will be the replacements. The phone assistance I got from them was excellent. The price was good and the delivery was quite fast. I have looked at the filters and they seem quite well constructed and I can not see any major differences between them. I do like the end foam to help seal the filter in the Air Bear filter section of my furnace. Hopefully, it will seal better and prevent blow by. I was just looking for a good filter at a better price. I feel I got that.
