Had old style filter and took a hour to remove, clean replacement filter box, put in replacement filter and spacers(most broken) clean furnace area, throw away old replacement filter.This style is very easy to remove, clean furnance area, replace filter, throw away the old one. Easy peasy done!

I was using a Merv 12 from Home Depot. My furnace kept shutting down due to low air flow. I figured I'd try the Merv 8 from Discount Filters and so far it has solved the problem.

The product is okay but the packaging has changed. When my order arrived I did not get to it because I was at work. It had been raining for days so I was surprised to see two soaking wet boxes containing my two filters sitting next to the garage. I thought, well the boxes are wet but the filters have a plastic cover around them inside of the box. That was not the case when I opened the soggy cardboard box. The filter was also wet with no plastic covering it so I had to leave it out to let it dry out. I don't know who it the most at fault, your company for not placing the filter in a clear plastic bag (like you use to) inside the box or the delivery company for leaving a package for a customer in the rain that is not inside of a plastic bag.I by two filters at a time so they both were soaked.
