The aftermarket ClearChoice "Natural" CLCH105-N filter is used in French Door and Side-by-Side refrigerators by Samsung. It is designed to replace the factory part # DA29-00019A, DA29-00020B and HAF-CIN. This was easy to install. However, the water dispenser has made noise ever since it was installed. The water flow is also slower. The manual for the fridge said to let 3 gallons of water go through as there might be this issue with sound until air is out of the line. We have gotten more than 3 gallons through the filter and it has not improved. It may not be the filter but these issues didn't occur until we installed it.

I am quite pleased with the quality of these filters. I have no way of determining how effective they are in removing contaminants except to judge the clarity and taste of the water which again is quite good. And it's important to note that these filters are nearly half the cost of OEM Filters.

Great product, work just like the triple priced Samsung brand ones do. Also like to say how wonderful their customer service is! I had problems getting my filter to go in. Tried both from package and still wouldn't go in even though my old one (exactly like the new ones) would go back in. I called VS who said they had not changed anything but would send 2 new ones out anyway. I didn't have to mess with trying to return the opened ones. It turned out my part in the refrigerator was broken and needed to be replaced (no sin as it was 8 yrs old). Once fixed the Clear Choice for in perfectly just like always. How to install

How To Install the DA29-00020B Filter:

Shut off the main water supply valve to the refrigerator
Remove old cartridge by grasping firmly and twisting counterclockwise 1/4 turn
Before installing, apply a small amount of vegetable oil to the new filter o-rings with your finger
Push new filter into the filter receiver and turn 1/4 turn clockwise until it locks
Turn on the main water supply valve to the refrigerator
Flush the refrigerator water system after replacing the water filter cartridge. Sputtering may occur until air is purged from water line and filter
Reset water filter status display - replace filter every 6 months
